World-Class Residential Rehab for Malaysians in Thailand
Have you tried to get sober several times, but found that you couldn’t? Do you feel you need a change of scenery or higher level of care in order to really turn things around? If so, inpatient rehab may be the right choice for you.
Inpatient rehab takes place at a residential facility, usually for a minimum of 28 days. Considered the gold standard in addiction treatment, inpatient rehab offers intensive programming in an environment designed to provide the ideal setting for recovery.
The Cabin Chiang Mai offers top-quality, comprehensive addiction treatment services to Malaysian clients seeking inpatient treatment.
Why Should You Get Addiction Treatment in Thailand?
Amazing Track Record and Cutting-Edge Treatment Options
The Cabin Chiang Mai is one of the world’s leading inpatient rehab centres. It offers world-class substance (alcohol and drugs) and process (food, gambling, sex, internet) addiction treatment equal to, or better than, the best private addiction rehabs in the West. You’re in good hands with us.
Treatment is Cost-effective and Convenient for Malaysians
The Cabin’s treatment options are on par with Western solutions, but come at a fraction of the price. In addition, getting to us is simple and painless: there are three quick, direct flights operating daily from Kuala Lumpur.
Beautiful Location Away from Your Triggers
Our inpatient treatment centre is located in a private mountainside location just outside the historic city of Chiang Mai in Northern Thailand. Its peaceful location, far removed from the triggers and stressors that threaten your sobriety, is one of many reasons The Cabin’s programmes are so effective. You’ll be supported by our expert team every step of the way.
Our Process: What Treatment Looks Like for Malaysians
Do you think inpatient treatment at The Cabin might be right for you, but are worried that doing so might be complicated and difficult? Getting treatment abroad may seem daunting and stressful at first glance, but rest assured that we do all we can to ensure the admissions process quick and easy for you. All aspects of your treatment – from initial assessment to aftercare – will be handled seamlessly.
Below is a quick rundown of our admissions process. For a more comprehensive outline, take a look at our admissions process page.

It All Starts with a Phone Call or an Email
Initially, you’ll speak to one of our counsellors about our treatment programme and how it can help you. Our counsellor will give you details about our treatment programmes and any information that may be appropriate to you. This simple phone call will serve as a useful guide on what to do going forward.
We will also help you with your travel arrangements at this stage.

The Next Step: Your Official Assessment
Once you arrive at The Cabin for primary treatment, we’ll conduct your initial assessment. This allows us to create a custom-tailored treatment plan that addresses your specific circumstances, history, preferences and needs.
Treatment at The Cabin Chiang Mai
After your assessment, you’ll settle into a daily schedule of one-on-one and group counselling, mindfulness meditation, physical exercise and excursions with your fellow clients.
Aftercare Back in Malaysia
When you complete primary treatment, we’ll provide you with a discharge summary and information on aftercare options for when you return home. Effective continuing care is a vital part of your recovery – and we’ll be there for you every step of the way. You’ll be given the opportunity to receive guidance via online video meetings, in-person support from our alumni network and more.
